Just a quick little rant of a blog post before i pop out, because Frank Turner has once again caused me to question everything and moan about The World.

I feel so pressured by people and expectations to get a mundane job, or to not go to uni and work in a call centre because "The money's so great." I just don't really understand. Why would anyone want to do something that they hate, and waste both their time and energy. Life isn't all about money, although it does get you nice things (iMac, Letraset pro markers, Mcdonalds, dominoes pizza etc.) but I'm willing to not have those nice things if it means not having to work in a boring, mundane job. Don't get me wrong, I like working, and i like stacking shelves, in moderation. But I don't want to spend my whole life cooped up in some lousy call centre or stacking shelves for my whole life. I respect that some people may want this out of their life, and good on you, but as Frank says 'If that's your road then take it, but it's not the road for me.'  For now I'm happy to follow my dreams and wait for a creative job to come my way, or at least something I'll enjoy until that happens.  I'm just fed up of people not appreciating what I want out of life and i always feel like people look down on creative people.

Rant over. Thank you Frank for creating beautiful music.
