So I bought Alex Clare's album 'The Lateness of the hour' last Saturday, after hearing 'Too Close' on the Microsoft advert (Yes, I'm sorry that I had to find out about him from Microsoft). At first I wasn't that sure about the album, But what i really liked about it was the heavy basslines and almost dubstep styles within the songs that go unusually with his voice and guitar. After a week of listening to this album practically non-stop, and recommending it to my friends and family I've fallen in love with it. My favourite has got to be 'Up all night' I love the beat, It just makes me want to get up and dance. The album's really different and shows Alex Clare's versatility, I'd say pretty much every song is different. There's nothing I love more than finding a new, fabulous musician!
Give him a listen if you haven't already!
