Last couple of days in photos

Had a really good couple of days
1. Its my friends 18th birthday soon so I made her a birthday card, because I usually like making cards for people as well as buying them one haha. She's a great photographer so I themed the card around photography. I printed this on watercolour paper and it came out really nicely, I wasn't sure at first what it would turn out like, and thought the ink may bleed, but it didn't! I drew all of the parts and scanned them in, transferred them into Photoshop to work on the layout. Inside there's also a designed message, and on the back a little 'Lauren goodland productions' logo for ultimate sadness.

2.Me, Brandon & Gareth went up the park on Friday and we did a pyramid

3.Aventure time is On demand, so I've been watching that! I love Adventure Time, the colours and drawing is amazing, and I love how everything is a character, there are always little hidden characters that you end up spotting. It's seriously too good to be a kids tv programme!

4.Yesterday (Saturday) I went to Cardiff with my parents and then to Cardiff Bay as it was sunny, but it was really cold! I hoped we could go to the new Doctor Who experience in Port Teigr, but when we got there it had just closed. It was sad because this little boy had dressed up as Doctor Who and then they had realized it was closed. I'm sure it'll be great in Port Teigr when the development is finished, You could see the BBC Cymru studios from the Doctor Who experience which was interesting, I was hoping I'd spot a few Casualty characters!

5.Mini Disc Player which this weekend has been my alternative to my iPod, Its my dads and is the only way I could listen to music port-ably anyway. All the mini dics we had were really 'hardcore' though, We're talking Creed,Limp Bizkit, System of a down, I did come across a Red Hot Chili Peppers one! I love all of those bands, but they don't compare to my iPod :(

6.But, Hallelujah! A MIRACLE happened. Today I decided to put my iPod on the dock, because it was gathering dust on my desk and I haven't checked it for a while as its been 'dead'. So i put it on the dock, and IT TURNS ON, So It's now working after two weeks of drying out after my 'drenched by bus dilemma'. The screen is still dis-attached though so I'm going to order a new screen off Ebay which will mean no more cracked screen! My iPod is being pimped!

7. 'Fabulous Welshcakes' are located in Cardiff Bay and are really the best welsh cakes I have ever eaten in my life.

The iPod thing has really put a shine on my week, because I know it sounds sad but I was really really sad about my iPod dying. Its made me realize that its my most prized possession, secondly, My guitar. I'm glad I don't have to fork out £219 which is don't have for a new iPod, even though I must admit I was pretty excited about buying a new iPod so that I'd have a camera and could instagram, because being a creative type i love the idea of it.
I'll buy one eventually, Maybe with my Christmas money, but here's hoping this little guy who is called 'Dopi' (iPod backwards) has a long and prosperous life ;)
